Now I am not a religious person but it was my understanding that Jesus was king of the Jews and lived in Israel. Could any Christian member here explain to me what the story is here and how many things this chick got wrong from the bible. It was my limited understanding that Palestine was never mentioned in the Bible and Israel was the shit back then. Palestine is part of Israel, and Jesus lived in Israel. Of course he wandered out of it and went other places, but he was a Jew, born the Bethlehem, which is part of modern day Israel. He grew up in Nazareth, which is part of modern day Israel. He was born in Israel, and grew up in Israel. I believe that the point this author is making is that Palestine, as a part of Israel, is therefore Jesus' home country. However, I disagree with them in that we should go on another Crusade.
And I'm a Christian, just by the way. Yeah, I actually do study the Bible and its history. Atheists, Jews, and Mormons aren't your only options, people.
